Are You Feeling UNLOVED?

ARE YOU FEELING “UNLOVED TODAY?”
This post is inspired by all persons who have shared with me they wanted to take their life because they felt UNLOVED.
HERE IS THE MYSTERY OF LOVE:
TRUE LOVE comes from God (1John 4: 7-10) because God IS love. (1John 4:8)
Jesus demonstrated through his life, death and resurrection that love is a SACRIFICE. Jesus also said the greatest demonstration of love is when a man (a person) lays down his life for a friend (just as he did). (John 15:13)
Love is powerfully divine. It is wise and distinct from all other attributes. In fact, Jesus said love cannot be perpetrated by acts of kindness. He said a man who says he loves God and does not love his brother (or sister) is a LIAR.(1John 4:20) Even Apostle Paul weighed in on the matter and said, though we may speak with the tongues of angels, if we have not love we are merely noisy clanging symbols of love and we accomplished nothing.(1Corin.13:1-2)
So, if you’re feeling unloved today it may be because you, 1. May not fully understand what love truly is or 2. Possibly, you are not extending love FIRST.
Now unfortunately, with God’s love comes great risk. Because love is patient and kind…(1Corin. 13:4-11), it is not always acknowledged, respected or appreciated which can deeply disappoint but don’t lose heart! Jesus dealt with this throughout his earthly life and ministry and he deals with it even more by men and women (and believers) today, even while he is seated victoriously at the right hand of the Father.
So learn from Jesus’ example. His response to love disrespected is to love continuously, unconditionally with long-suffering yet from a distance that you have established.  Yes, God will allow you to disrespect and reject him again and again but it will not be without you having a taste of His love so you will always remember what your heart truly longs for because the love of God brings peace of life.
The love of God never dies it is always life-giving and always vibrantly living. It is indestructible and eternal and always victorious both in life and in death.
So I encourage you to pray for the love of God to live inside of you so you won’t be afraid to love FIRST.  In this, you will always be able to give love INTENTIONALLY, without discrimination.  Now, when love HURTS, you will be able to commit to love again by planting seeds “wherever God leads” but only for the sake of “God’s love” to grow “through you.”
Then soon you will have a beautiful garden where TRUE love surrounds you as an extension of YOUR love, and God will (as with Christ) position you at His right side to reign and live victoriously in the power and presence of HIS LOVE and PEACE on earth, just as it is in heaven.
