Each year the season of Thanksgiving reminds us to take time and consider the many things (often overshadowed or overlooked) that we have to be thankful for. This is the rich blessing of annual holidays/festivals…it’s a REMINDER to celebrate something worthy of never forgetting.  Because too often our lives are weighed down with the responsibilities of life and the reckless distractions from the godless world views that surround us, we can easily miss the simple joys, grace-filled blessings that comes to us daily from our Heavenly Father.

Today, during this season of Thanksgiving I count my blessings for 2016 and acknowledge the goodness of life that has risen through the cracks of loss, change, disappointment, stretching and challenge whereby allowing me to recognize I have reason to be thankful at all times and in every season.
